Community Art Projects
Visible and Public Art
There is significant research on the benefits to communities that build and implement arts and culture plans which include visible and public art. Specifically public art that engages the community in the design and building of this art.
Communities with visible art throughout are seen as welcoming, vibrant, and encourage belonging, placemaking by both residents and business. The physical, mental and economic health of a community rises when a community has an active arts and culture initiative.
